Manjushri wields the Sword of Wisdom in his right hand, which cuts through the ignorance keeping us bound to our "conditioned" existence and holds a copy of the Perfection of Wisdom sutra text in his left hand. His brilliant orange color signifies the radiance of the sun-like piercing light of wisdom and intelligence that overcomes all delusions and wrong conceptions.

Meditation 101 (Aug. 2010) is a 5-module meditation course for beginners. The course is free, but donations of $10 are requested to help cover expenses of the materials.
Buddhism in a Nutshell(Dates TBA) is also a course for beginners, but still beneficial for experienced practitioners too. The course is free, but a donation of $15 is requested to help with the expenses of the materials.
HEART RELIC TOUR IN TUCSON(Dec. 17-19) It is a great honor for the Manjushi Wisdom Center to be the host for the Heart Relic Tour in Tucson!!!
Volunteers are needed to help with this auspicious event.
The exhibition will be at The Temple of Music and Art, 330 S. Scott St., Tucson, AZ.
This rare opportunity is free and open to all faiths. Donations are very much needed and sincerely appreciated!

No activities are planned for this day at MWC; however, because it is a Tsog Day, those with Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments have a committment to make this offering. One can do this on one's own if need be.
Buddha and Medicine Buddha Days - Concurrently Arising
Sunday, July 25th MWC Celebrations will be Saturday, July 24th - Times TBA
This Buddha Day (commemorating Lord Buddha's conception), Medicine Buddha Day, and regular class all occur Sunday, the 25th. Because of the concurrence of Buddha Day, Medicine Buddha Day, and class, MWC will have Shakyamuni Buddha Puja and Medicine Buddha Puja BOTH on Saturday, July 24th. Lam-Rim will be on Sunday, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Public Talks
Ani Kalden is available for public talks to small groups. No fee, however, donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated.
One can join us at any point during this series of teachings and classes are open to all experience levels. The presentations will be from the book Step By Step by Geshe Namgyal Wangchen. This book would be an extremely benefical asset to help with your studies and is recommended, but NOT required.
Step By Step is published by Wisdom Publications (www.wisdompubs.org) and can be ordered for $16.95 from Wisdom Publications, Amazon.com, or local book stores.
